‘Journeys Meet’: a new choral song cycle

Glyndebourne, Create Music and Berwick Church have co-commissioned Laura and composer Lillie Harris to write a unique choral song cycle for children’s voices.

The cycle, entitled Journeys Meet, is inspired by the church, its congregation and the restoration of its impressive murals, painted by the Bloomsbury artists Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Quentin Bell.

The full cycle will premiere in late 2022, and a recording of the songs will join the beautiful visual artwork in the church as an installation piece to welcome visitors and enhance their experience of this special place.
