‘Belongings’ goes to Paris

Orchestre de Paris will perform a new production of ‘Belongings’, Laura and Lewis Murphy’s youth opera originally commissioned and premiered by Glyndebourne in 2017. The piece, which explores the experiences of children displaced by war, has become ever more relevant in the years since its first performance.

Performances will take place in May 2023. You can read more about the project, its creative team and the forces involved online here.

You can watch the film of Glyndebourne’s original production, directed by Lucy Bradley and conducted by Lee Reynolds, online here.
