‘Silla’ cast announced

The cast of Laura’s new production of Handel’s Silla for Northern Opera Group has been announced, and tickets will soon be on sale for the performances in Leeds in August of this year as part of the Leeds Opera Festival.

Dynamic mezzo-soprano Idunnu Münch takes on the production’s title role, and her cast-mates include Lucy Hall, Isabelle Peters, Alison Rose, Frances Gregory, Stephanie Hershaw, Trevor Bowes.

The opera will be performed in a new translation by Dr Martin Pickard, and conducted by Ellie Slorach, with designs by April Dalton and movement direction by Christina Fulcher. You can read more about the production and its team online here.
