INTERSTELLA at Britten Pears

Laura joins an all female/non-binary team of three librettists, three composers and three singers to begin work on INTERSTELLA, a series of interlocking monodramas charting the course of trailblazing women in STEM whose stories have often been overlooked. Development of the pieces will begin at Britten Pears in April, with work-in-progress shared at an open session at the end of the team’s residency on site.

INTERSTELLA is produced by Joanna Harries and Fiona Finsbury, with collaborators include composers Ella Jarman Pinto, Charlotte Marlow and Yshani Perinpanayagam, librettists Laura Attridge, Jo Brandon and Jennifer Farmer, and soprano April Koyejo. You can read more about the project online here.
