‘Silla’ premiere

The premiere performances of Laura’s production of Handel’s rare opera, ‘Silla’, in a new English translation by Dr Martin Pickard, have received acclaim from audiences and critics alike.

Boasting an all-female creative team and a cast of rising stars, supported by the renowned Eboracum Baroque, the production for Northern Opera Group was described as “done with with panache and considerable imagination” by Opera Now, with Laura’s direction called “particularly inventive”.
