Birmingham Royal Ballet’s ‘Luna’

‘There Is Silence’ from Laura and composer Kate Whitley’s oratorio, Our Future In Your Hands, features in Birmingham Royal Ballet’s dynamic new production, Luna.

From BRB’s website: “Five female choreographers from around the world take inspiration from the pioneering women of Birmingham. Each tells a story tackling universal themes through sweeping dramatic movement and intense, intimate moments of darkness and light.”

Arielle Smith choreographs Act II Scene i of Luna. ‘There Is Silence’ will be performed live by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia and a children’s chorus.

Luna will be performed at Birmingham Hippodrome and Sadler’s Wells across October. More information about the production can be found here.
