Directing a world premiere for Scottish Opera

Laura will direct the premiere of A Matter of Misconduct! for Scottish Opera as part of their 24/25 season.

The opera will be performed in double bill with Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial By Jury (directed by John Savournin), and represents the next step for the dynamic writer/composer partnership of Emma Jenkins and Toby Hession, whose 15-minute political farce, In Flagrante, proved an audience favourite across Scotland when it premiered as part of 23/24 Opera Highlights - also directed by Laura.

This hilarious double bill comes to Glasgow and Edinburgh in May 2025.
