A new community opera for Lammermuir Festival

Laura’s new community opera, Catriona and the Dragon, will premiere in April. The piece, written with composer Lliam Paterson, was commissioned by Lammermuir Festival and will be directed by Laura and conducted by Sian Edwards.

Alongside a professional team of creatives, instrumentalists and singers, the production will bring together a large cast of community performers, young musicians from the East Lothian Instrumental Music Service, local youth choir Dunbar Voices and young people from the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland and Edinburgh College.
